I have so far held off on upgrading for the first time since the X->Xs. I watched a lot of reviews that came out over the weekend that said there was no compelling reason to upgrade. I would like to hear thoughts from real life users who upgraded from the 14PM to the 15PM. Was the upgrade worth it?

Worth it, depends on you. I did it, I am very happy. The lighter weight, smaller bezels, and more comfortable to hold phone are things I really like about it. But that is me, the upgrade overall is very small, and most people probably couldn't tell the difference.

I go case-less so 100% yes due to the rounded edges. My Dad is taking my 14PM since he has a 8. Nothing wrong with the 14PM at all but glad I did it.

I am upgrading from 14 PM to 15 PM, but will not see my phone for a few weeks. I may or may not wind up keeping it if I fail to see the value (or if the durability concerns ring true).

I am excited for it, but whether it is worth the expense remains to be seen.

I am happy with the upgrade from the 14 pro max to the 15 pro max. It's not mind-blowing changes but the quality of life upgrades are great. I think the camera is an improvement over the 14 Pro Max as well.

I am a little disappointed with the back glass being a bit less durable than the 14 pro but I don’t think it's the end of the world. Glass is glass and anything can break given the variables.

For those that only looked at Jerry Rigs video about the glass breaking, I encourage you to look at the other two YouTubers who did the bend test and the back glass didn't break.

Also, Apple Pro everything drop tests video showed the pro max can take a beating and still work ( cameras and all) it's just the back glass that breaks really.

Also looking forward to seeing what happens with the A17 chip, gaming, and more. Overall, happy with the phone!

I’m very happy with going from a 14PM to 15PM. I had the deep purple and didn’t care for the look of it. The natural titanium looks so much better.

From a functional standpoint, the weight and edges make a nice difference. The zoom ability on the camera is a significant improvement.

I don’t think anyone can honestly say it’s a must upgrade, but for me personally I’m happy with my phone again. 😄

Definitely. It feels so much lighter. Bezels are thinner, but that's not a big deal for most. The action button is great as well. And USB-C is very important to me. I upgraded my AirPods Pro as well so I didn't have to deal with lightning anymore.

Yeah those break tests are funny to me. Any glass can break under the right circumstance. Just use the phone and get apple care if you worry about it. I have it as I am case-less but never had an issue.

I upgraded to the 15PM to the 14PM and it was a great upgrade for me. The lighter weight, new color, better camera from specs (which I have yet to test out), rounded edges, thinner bezels and titanium frame. Also switching to USB C wasn’t hard to get used to, as my iPad mini 6 and iPad Pro 12.9 both use usb c.

To be fair, the price for replacing broken back glass has massively reduced. For a 14 Pro it was $499, and for the 15 Pro it's just $169. And for the Pro Max, it was $549 and it's now $199. You can break your back glass almost three times now for the original price.

Yes worth it. I didn’t like the 14 PM. Battery life was worse than the 13 PM. and the purple got old quick.
So far the 15 PM has returned to longer battery life the natural titanium looks great and it’s much snappier then the 14 PM. Maybe a combination of faster processor and more ram.
Overall happy with the upgrade.

I don’t know I must have gotten lucky cause my iPhone 15 pro max screen looks on par ( slightly better” than my 14 pro max front screen did. The thinner bezels make it feel like there is a bit more screen space.

Also, my phone hasn’t overheated or had any weird glitches or issues.

Worth it for me. By the time I sell/trade in the 14PM, the cost isnt insane.

15 PM feels far better in the hand and natural titanium is great.
