Yes yes I know "It's not paint it's PVD coated titanium," but still. Will the black/blue colors chip off easily? Will natural be more 'wear resistant?'

I took my black 13 Pro out of the Otterbox case for the first time in a few months (always cased). I noticed chipping/pitting around the bezel and on the buttons. My only thought is lint/dust/dirt made its way there and caused damage over time.

Will the 15 Pro coated titanium be more or less susceptible to this damage? Will the natural titanium hide this better? I prefer black but if it looks beat up even though it was cased. I wish they all just had a black camera bump.

Black/Blue will get scratched if not wrapped in a case. If it gets bad, you can always use a sandpaper to brush out the PVD coating to reveal NT.

I‘m wondering the same … if I should return my black iPhone 15 Pro and get natural titanium instead … did anyone get more info on this?
