So, I saw it on twitter that iPhone 15 Pro has the exact same camera sensors as iPhone 14 Pro.
Of course except the 5X on 15 Pro Max.

It means that all the improvements are based entirely on software?
And if I use Halide to shoot photos, will that make a different between 14 Pro and 15 Pro?
I believe Halide doesn't use Apple camera algorithms and Apple's smart HDR.

And in your opinion, does it worth it to upgrade if all I care is cameras and ram?
I really don't care about titanium and USB-C.

Thank you

Halide has the option to turn off the Apple smart processing, but I’ve found ProRaw very easy to work with and gives a nice photo with some light edits.
I actually prefer my photos to have a little bit of grain, and if you use their photo editing software Darkroom you can replicate the film look pretty well.

The sensor is the same, but that’s not a bad thing as it’s a great sensor being 1/1.28” in size, just smaller than a 1” type sensor and unlike those smartphones the iPhone actually uses the whole sensor area, so it’s actually better.

Improvements in HDR5 and less harsh processing result in a much nicer photo than you could get previously, even if it’s subtle an improvement is still an improvement.
