I would have never believed there could be such a big difference in user experience using this site on an iPhone 15 vs an XR. With the older model, I had already gotten used to the fact that this site is slow and sluggish. With the newer model, it works flawlessly. So, my question is, is MacRumors poorly optimized? Because many other websites work just fine on the XR.

I think the website just has so many plug-ins and adverts, etc…
I don’t think it’s terrible but I agree it’s probably one of the most resource heavy websites I frequent. I still regularly come on here using an iPad Mini 4, OGSE & 8 so I guess I have more patience than most. The 13 I have pretty much loads the website instantly.
