I'm thinking about getting an iPhones 16 Pro Max or iPad Pro 2024, but don't know which is better.

What are the hardware and software differences between the two?

Any piece of advice is appreciated.

Better? Neither, they serve different purposes. One is a large tablet computer and the other is a more-portable phone. The form factor is the most important difference rather than features. There are certain things you can do on one and not the other but it really depends on what you're looking for as they excel in different areas.

You didn't say what your use case is but statistically most people prefer to have an iPhone.
