Yup, had problems earlier in the week. Didn’t realize a reboot may have been what temporarily fixed it.

I also had issues w/ Siri not answering basic questions it used to answer and instead offering websites.

Hoping 18.0.1 permanently fixes it.

Yesterday i had same problem, but i belive that i had this problem from the day one for my 16pro max.
a hard reser for no. I hope that will be K…

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I have noticed, ever since the newest update, that my Siri is very slow. Most notably in dictation. I use dictation a lot and there is a very noticeable lag. Also Hey Sir doesn’t work anymore. She doesn’t respond anymore. Anyone else noticing this?

Same problem here. Thought 18.0.1 was going to fix it but no luck. Hard reset is the only fix I’ve found too. I might update to 18.1 and see if that works.

Hello
after two reset after 2 days the Siri issue restart
so, It’s very stress to turn off the phone every time.
do u have find as resolve this problem?

I was having the same issue on 16 Pro. Apple support had me restore using my laptop and it has worked flawlessly for the past week.

Well after working for quite a while after a full restore I'm back to intermittent times when Siri doesn't hear me. Hopefully fixed in the next software update.

have you 16 pro max?

I have the 16 Pro. Doesn't seem to affect my wife's 15 Pro.
I have 16 pro max, after hard reset, new setting as new iphone i have also same problem, my wife 15 pro max and has same issue.
i speek with support Apple, and they don’t know as to fix this issue.
i hope the issue is softwere and no hardware

Seems to be related to placing my phone in silent mode. When not enabled the speaker picks up my "Hey Siri" command as normal but when enabled it takes several tries before it recognizes my commands. See if you also experience this.

It’s same, after 20mins don’t work.
i thinking now, that It’s a hardware issue.
i’m tired. I payed 1989 euros for some problem. ****

I have the same problem. 16 Pro Max.

I hope everybody with this issue sends a feedback to Apple. This is unacceptable.

In most jurisdictions now, you can't be holding a phone while making a call in your car. So using the side button is not an option. If you're in a car that doesn't have a CarPlay, you are essentially prevented from using the basic functionality of your phone.
