iPhone 16 Pro iPhone 16 pro Screen Brightness Increases when Recording Video

Hi I just finished setting up my iPhone 16 pro, and I’m noticing that the screen brightens meaningfully whenever I start recording video. This stops if I turn off “HDR Video” in “Record Video.” But on my iPhone 15 pro, I had “HDR Video” turned on and the screen brightness didn’t change. Just thought I’d check with you guys to see what your experience is like, because right now my battery is draining quickly when recording videos.

Hello I just got my 16 Pro and notice this too. I find it annoying as I want to decide the brightness of my screen. I'm not able to find a toggle for this anywhere - have you?
