iPhone 16/Plus iPhone 16 vs iPhone 13 mini: Best Cellular performance

Thinking of upgrading but I'm pretty okay with my 13 mini. One thing that might tip me to upgrade is if the iPhone 16 has a better cellular antenna. Getting two bars an iPhone 16 while I get only one bar my 13 mini would be highly compelling. Funny that the reviews never seem to evaluate that. Does anybody know if there is a difference? Thanks.

The main reason I went to the 15pro from the 13 mini is the mini itself. I love the thing. Its amazing. But I use carplay when I drive and everytime the mini would get so hot plugged in the battery couldn't charge and it would get blazingly hot. Have you had these issues? Did new OS revisions fix it?

I've had my mini stop charging in the car because it indicates it's too hot. I just put it out of the sun for a while and it starts charging. It never feels very hot to me.

I didn't give the full story I think it's my use case but I also use spotify. So spotify+google maps+carplay+charging something makes mine boil
