When Apple say the new Front Camera is 18MP, do they mean the sensor resolution or the size of the resulting images?
If it's the sensor, the image resolution will be a maximum of 13.5MP but if it's the images, the sensor is actually 24MP.
Anybody know?

I was wondering this also. Because if it is 18MP over the entire square then the crops are going to be not much more (or less) than the old 12MP one.

I did hear MKBHD say in a video it was 24MP but I haven't seen or heard that anywhere else?? He says the photos themselves are 18MP.
