iPhone 17 Lock Screen

Is the iOS 17 Lock Screen the same and iOS 16 or can we have more widgets and do more with them?

I was unable put shortcut widgets on the iPadOS 17 lockscreen.

I think it just looks different in landscape mode (more space) but from the functionality it is the same in portrait as on iPhone

I landscape mode you can put more widgets when in portrait it’s the same as on iPhone
