(Authentic issue, but the post is meant for levity 🤣, hopefully not against forum rules)

I experience a photic sneeze reflex, like many people. Since upgrading to the iPhone 17 Pro I’ve discovered that I cannot reliably use the flashlight feature to complete a sneeze when in a dark or dimly lit room. This is a major regression from previous phone models. With my 16 Pro flashlight, I could almost always complete a sneeze when the urge to sneeze started creeping in.

Makes me wonder if the new LED flash is producing light wavelengths that are just different enough from previous generations so as to reduce its effectiveness at finalizing a sneeze for a photic sneeze sufferer like myself.

Was with a group of friends at a dark restaurant this past weekend. I turned on my 16PM flashlight to look at the menu and across from me my friend did the same with his 17 pro..... I didn't notice much of a difference in brightness, if anything the 17 pro was ever so slightly brighter

There’s definitely a light wavelength at which sneezes are encouraged. And the 17 must have changed something for the worse.

Time to shine flashlights at people in public to do tests for science.

Oh Apple how far you’ve fallen.
