iPhone 17 Pro Max Iphone 17 Pro Max Silver Antenna Scratches!

Looks like the silver has issues aswell. It came like this when I opened it. Why did Apple wrap the entire camera plateau perimeter in this cheap antenna plastic? I’ve seen scratches like this before on ipad pros but never on iphone pro’s

Silver too is having issues. Saw multiple demo models in store yesterday having marks just like that. The demo units were in store only for a couple of hours. Very disappointing.

It occurs on the Ultra watches also because I had this very issue, as mentioned, absolutely nothing you can do do.
 
Just deal with it. The chances of the next one being worse are quite high. As long as there are no defects on the aluminum or dust in the lenses, what you’ve shown is pretty normal.

I will be keeping it as the screen is pretty much perfect and I have no other issues besides some very light blemishes near the charging port in certain lighting. Its just dissapointing that apple has doubled down on cheap material for the pro phones. These antenna bands have always traditionally just been little parts on the side of the phones, so had less of a chance of these arriving all scratched up

Does it come off even with wiping or anything?
