I personally ordered the Cosmic Orange 512GB iPhone 17 Pro Max using Verizon's 50% paid off Device Upgrade option. Since I have Unlimited Ultimate I was also able to receive $550 off of the price of the phone which is actually lowering my bill since my 15 Pro Max didn't have a promo deal when I upgraded 18 months ago.

When I first started the order process online around 11 a.m. local time it showed 9/19 as the delivery date. I ended up placing the order though live agent chat so I could get the $40 line upgrade fee waived (which I did get waived), but since the agent kept insisting that I need Verizon Protect it took at least 15 mins longer than it should have.

I ultimately declined the coverage like I do every year from them. After all was said and done the delivery date had moved to 9/26. Who knows when during that hour the date changed with the wasted time. If nothing else it saved me $40 and I got the exact phone I wanted. I have had pre-orders through Verizon actually move back up to the launch date in the past so I can still have some hope for that happening again. It's only one week, not a big deal by any means.

Those that have Verizon and ordered through Verizon what delivery date do you have? Did it change during the order process? Or after? Only time will tell I guess.
