Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Pro models may have a new copper-like orange color option, according to Sonny Dickson.

In a social media post today, Dickson shared images of alleged lens covers for the rear cameras on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, with the following five color labels: black, gray, silver, dark blue, and orange.

The black, gray, and silver colors likely correspond with the existing Black Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium finishes for the iPhone 16 Pro models, while the presence of a dark blue lens cover suggests that Apple might reintroduce the Blue Titanium color option that it offered for the iPhone 15 Pro models.

The orange lens cover is the most notable one, as it could point to an all-new copper color that Apple has never offered for any iPhone models before.

It is unclear if the images are authentic, or if Apple finalized these color options.

Dickson has routinely shared images of dummy models, cases, CAD files, and other components related to future iPhone models over the years, and these images have often accurately depicted new color options or design changes.

Apple will likely unveil the iPhone 17 series in September, so we will find out if these colors are the real deal in just two more months.

Now, that I look at that render, the 17PM looks good to me. Maybe it’s because I have gotten used to its alleged look. But I’ll be skipping it and will return to an iPhone next year when the Apple Foldable is released but we all know they will “delay” it until 2027. Lol.

This is like the tenth time that color has been rumored, so I'm skeptical, but if accurate, that would be the color for me. Something actually a bit bold on the Pro is welcome.
Yep! It’s sad that Apple of all people is seemingly determined to associate “professional” with “boring”. 🙃

EDIT: Any excuse to repost this. THIS is what a lot of us want to see in our pro phones. 😍

Hmmm...Five color options for the Pros is nice. 3 of them being taken by black, gray and silver is less nice but ok. Neither orange or dark blue are really my preferred colors but I'm listening. This is a step in the right direction I think?

I still like the colors offered on the base iPhone and iPhone Air (if these leaks are accurate) better. Sigh...

If the Air actually has that blue-gray color instead of the previously rumored very light sky blue, I might like that. OTOH, if the Pros get a true orange, then it’s a bummer that the Air won’t get it.

This charts confirms my suspicion that in the post on X the Air and Regular colours are (mistakenly) reversed.

In this article, MacRumors uses twitter.com URLs instead of x.com URLs. Can anyone explain this? As someone who oversaw a domain name change in 2022, I’m hyper aware of this issue. The change from twitter.com to x.com took a few months but I have not seen a twitter.com URL in a long time.

As for the colors, no dark color for the iPhone Air except black means another black iPhone. I didn’t know how good I had it with the dark green iPhone 11 Pro.
