Wait no, the images appear to be AI-generated. Check out these SIM trays, the one on the left is completely different to the right and the "screws" in the bag on the right are all fused together.

Come on guys, you're better than this.
And the blue and black version seems to be the exact same picture, just recolored. If you look at the reflections on the plastic bags, they are identical, and the AI artifacts are the same as well.

What does it matter what the colour is, most people put them in a cover so the phone colour is never seen unless it is a transparent cover, not seen many of them.
My wife and daughter, for one and two. A lot of people buy phones solely based on the color.

I’ve seen a bunch of orange iPhone Pro 17s in the wild because the camera plateau stands out.

Well in Shenzhen you can practically pick up any iPhone 17 Pro Max or Pro chassis for about 200 RMB which don’t affect the system on the iPhone in any colours I will class this as fake news

Tend to agree. Seriously considered the orange PM. But settled on another year with the 14PM; just not enough to justify the expense.
The camera system is quite an upgrade. The 8x lens is more useful than you may think. I’ve been able to read things I never could have with the naked eye without it. I also very much like the camera control, once I paired back its swipe abilities at least (it’s too complicated and fiddly by default).

Man, I wish I have that huge will power as you do. Still holding onto my 16 Pro Max and tempted to upgrade. First time since I've held out this long. I had the 14 Pro Max and that big boy was heavy to the point where my pinky was mentally warped. I even had the leather case on as well. Immediately switched to the small 15 Pro after it came out.

But what's even funnier, I've gotten used to the big screen, barely a full year with the 15 Pro, I regret having a small 6.1 phone. Typing got annoying because my hands cramped and I do miss the big display. So, 16 Pro Max was the saving grace of it all.

Agreed. Exact same placement of the sim tray hardware, and exact same reflection of the overhead light.

As others mentioned, these are likely AI generated. At best, it’s a series of doctored images.
They are aftermarket for the iPhone 17 series I know this because I’m based in Shenzhen..

Also note the same exact arrangement of items in and glare from the baggie between the blue and black models.

I'm glad we're starting to see more colors come to things, even if these aren't my favorites. Maybe Tim doesn't like colors or doesn't encourage his teams to make things colorful and interesting. Hopefully John does.

Even though I prefer something more boisterous, the dark cherry is growing on me. If it looks like a purple-tinged version of their best red colors of the past, it'll be a winner.

To exchange the charging port, the camera switch and the chassis isn’t that expensive here in China cost will set you back roughly £50 I did because AppleCare+ is pointless when they only replace the display under warranty and I was willing to pay for the display and chassis also nothing came back negative on the system

Obviously fake like others have pointed out. Still seems like cherry and blue will be the special colors. Not bad, I sort of like the blue, but not enough to ditch my orange 17 Pro! 18 Pro isn't a big enough of a leap to justify ditching this amazing color.

What does it matter what the colour is, most people put them in a cover so the phone colour is never seen unless it is a transparent cover, not seen many of them.

The case I get every time I upgrade my phone is the same case (Raptic Shield) and it has a clear back on it. So I see the color every day I use it.

Why is it whenever someone mentions the part of China they're from it makes me think of Chinese food? Every time.

The Cherry color is growing on me. I usually upgrade every year just to waste money on myself but when the 17 came out I was hospitalized with a rare disease that has an 80% mortality rate. A new phone wasn't on my radar. So this year I will definitely be upgrading so I'm all ready thinking colors.

I was leaning towards black, but that blue looks really nice. I usually put a case my device, so why get a color I'll never see it. Also, there is a chance I'll get the fold. Last September I placed my phone order about 8 times, after finally deciding on sky blue iPhone Air. This September will be worse.

I know it's been confirmed fake now, but did nobody spot the SIM card tray...?

Anyways, that Space Black color would be a welcome return. It would compliment the Space Black MacBook Pro's very well. I am not sure why Apple didn't make that a color this year aside from production issues/Space Black chipping too easily causing durability concerns.

The quality is quite good because I exchange from a midnight blue to a silver 🤣
Is silver that good? Hows the usage after a while, does it show any signs of wear or dinks?

I ordered the Orange iPhone, can't wait to see it, but i am afraid of it turning pink. Has that happened to yours?

I’ve had mine on for a couple of months the build quality has gotten better with these aftermarket chassis because I had the chance to go around a few stalls and do quality control

Even if these weren't AI-generated, one needs to keep in mind that getting a feel for the actual color of a phone (or anything) is very difficult when you consider that you're looking at your computer screen, which introduces color management issues, at a web image, which introduces more color management issues, of a photo taken and uploaded by some device with its own color management gremlins.

I'll see these in an Apple Store when they're released and make my decision then. Not before.
