iPhone Air iPhone 18 Pro or IPhone Air 2?

So I gave up on my iPhone 17 sold it got the air. One reason I can’t deal with 16e type upgrades in March. I tried the Pro phone. I use an old iPhone 11 as a spare so what should by phone next year? Keep the Air for a spare or do I get the new Air or should I get the Pro keeping the Air as a spare?

I don’t fancy the iPhone fold so my upgrade dilemma is an iPhone Air 2 or 18 Pro which would be best?

It's a whole year away before the next generation of iPhones. Why not wait a while on the decision making process until it's known what will and will not be in the next iPhones.

It's too early to know anything - a week after the 17 launches and you're looking at the 18 already.

You should wait for the 20th Anniversary iPhone. I'm hoping they use the original chassis of the first iPhone and just upgrading internals.

Well yes that’s my dilemma in 2027. I imagine it would be a choice between Pro or 20th model but then again maybe the 20th model will be the Pro.

I reckon both Pro and air will be small updates.

Based on rumors of theses phones, both at least 1 year out, who knows?
Best is always to just wait since next years device will have better tech ...

Too far off to worry about and at my age, I live for today, so I traded in my iPhone 15 Pro for the 17 Air in blue and after using it as my daily driver since last Friday, I am happy with the upgrade, as for the Air 2, who knows!!!

Mind, the 3.5” iPhones were really the only iPhones which I didn’t have to slide and shimmy around for one-handed use.
