iphone 1g or ipod touch(new)

hey there well my friends mom has an 1g iphone is like in perfect condition except for a dent in the side of the vivrate switch for 150 everything works she does not even used it like it has been off like for atleast 2 months XD
and it comes with the box charger everything exceppt headphones it comes with an incase case and soome protective thing over the screen and the contract its canceled so i can connect on my macbook with no problem or should i get a new ipod touch 8gb or whatever the 229 is?

We need more information about your situation. Do you have the money to pay for an iPhone at&t plan/Do you even need a cell phone? If not, then you should definitely go for the iPod touch.
