Hey guys a little issue, so I had an original iphone (1g) no issues been working just fine in great shape. I go to the apple store for an upgrade to the 3gs. The clerk asks if i want to import my contacts from the old phone since i'm not going straight home. he swaps the sim cards to do this and swaps them back. Since then the 1g iphone doesn't work. I dont' mean it can't make calls i mean when i connect it to the computer it doesn't show up in itunes, when i power it up i see the black screen with the apple logo and then it powers down after that. I realize the batter could be dead but it seems odd that it would coincide with the sim card removal. has anyone else experienced this or have any thoughts?

Also the battery screen never appears and i have tried resetting it (holding down power and home)
