Hello, I recently bought a broken iPhone 1st gen off of ebay (I'm learning how to fix electronics) and from what I understand, the touch screen works fine, but the bottom part of the screen is broken.

However, there seems to be two parts to the screen, and I need help identifying them so I can order a replacement.

From what I understand, the screen part on the left (where the home button goes) is the top glass and digitizer (Touch screen, which is a small piece of glass glued to this, correct me if i'm wrong). This part works fine, the problem is the other part. It has a plastic mirror bit on it and it looks like it was once glued to the top part of the screen; this goes underneath it.

What is this part called? Is it supposed to be glued to the top part of the screen? If so, can you buy a replacement one of these and glue it back yourself or can it only work as one part?
