Anyone know if the 3G iphone will be able to get push GMail instead of having to poll google's servers every 15 minutes or so? This is probably the only thing that is making me lean towards the blackberry 9000 for now. Anyone have any info?

Anybody have any updated information about this? I REALLY want to get the new iPhone when it is released but I just cannot switch from the blackberry unless it includes push gmail. Thanks.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

It would be a software 2.0 feature, not a 2nd gen phone feature. If it comes, it'll be available on v1 phones too.
