iPhone 2010 NFC maybe?

I wonder if, what with all the very many patents Apple have registered a while back concerning the "Near Field communications" chip (I know Apple patent truck loads of ideas and they never come to fruition) but with Apple and the NFC chip they have patented, according to certain sites, HUNDREDS of patents all to do with NFC and what with the fourth coming iPhone cases for the 3G & 3GS, a collaboration between Visa & Apple themselves, kinda retro tech, making the old phones into a "PayWave" gadget SO... does anyone else wonder if Apple may have incorporated an NFC chip inside the iPhone HD/4G or whatever they end up calling it...
