Just for old time's sake, I've started playing with old faithful, my 4GB 2G iPhone. As I don't have a real use for it these days, so I wouldn't miss newer features, I would like to downgrade it to 1.0.2. I've managed to get it back down to 3.0, but getting back down to 2.x is proving tricky. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

Forgot to add, I have access to older Macs that I can put any version of iTunes required on if needed. I've been trying to find a combination of 2.x and iTunes that works and haven't stumbled across it yet.

I wanted to do this as well a while ago... discovered the same difficulty you ran into and quit trying. Report back if you find a way!
