Hi!
I have a first generation iPhone 2G and it has been working like charm since i bought it. But for two weeks now it´s been starting to act wierd. It shuts of randomly and when i restart it it does not seem to remember what date it was when it got shut down. So i have to manually set the time and date because it does not seem to be working to set it to automatic time and date. And to make things worse, it seems to keep dropping both wifi connection and data connection over gsm. I have to manually go in to settings and choose my wifi net. And then it works for a while until i discover that it has been shutting it self of. It seems to work great while connected to power, which would make me suspect the battery, but since it shuts down even when the battery has just been loaded makes that sound strange. Could a tired battery be the cause of all this? I made a dfu-restore just to see if it had anything to do with the OS but the problems persisted. Anyone else out there with the similar problem? Or is it just my iPhone´s way of telling me: "Master, it is time for my predecessor to take over... and his name is... IPHONE 3GSsssssss... ahhhh..." (And the iphone died)
