I have an iPhone 2G that seems to have a broken data port. [the short story] It lost charge, so figuring that the battery finally went dead, I replaced the battery (soldering, etc etc). I do have it wired so that I can turn it on, but it still won't charge, transfer data, etc. I would replace the cheap data port if I really knew it would fix it. I've since bought a new 3G phone, so more importantly...

I have unsaved/unsynced contacts, photos, and voice memos that I'd like to transfer off the 2G. I don't care so much about the phone, but would like to somehow transfer the photos, voice memos, and (not a big deal) contacts.

I know there's apps that allow you to bluetooth them to another phone, but since the 2G phone now isn't activated, it gets trickier.

Any ideas?

Thanks
