Iphone 2g does not boot!

I have an Iphone 2g and I have a problem. I cannot turn it on. When I try to open it, the apple logo appears and the it shuts down! I try to charge it but again the same problem!Also, I cannot boot it in dfu mode!

They are pretty cheap (under $10), assuming you are willing to take on the task of swapping it yourself.
