My iPhone 2g's sleep/wake button has been nonfunctional for a few months now so I never cut my phone off only reset. As of yesterday, my phone decided to turn off and now it won't come back on and since the sleep/wake button is broken, there's no way to reset it now. Every time I plug my usb cable in it only goes as far as the apple logo screen then immediately turns off. The battery was around 60-70% when it turned off by the way so I know for a fact that's not the issue. I would take it into the apple store but I jailbroke it about a year ago. Any suggestions on how to either fix the sleep/wake button myself or how to just get the phone to turn on??
