iPhone 2G issue

I just bought a used iPhone 2g and I Encountered an issue with the screen. The touch screen in the middle seems to be non responsive the top and bottom work fine it's just the middle part that seems unresponsive. I restored the firmware twice but it did not work. I need some advice on what to do.

The firmware cannot be responsible for that type of issue.

On the original iPhone, the screen wasn't made in the same way like now, I think your screen is broken.
Call your vendor.
