Is it worth jailbreaking and then selling it off.
Or better to sell it off without jailbreaking the Iphone 2g.

Reading about jailbreaking benefits like iresrtictor...etc...seems quite good reasons to jailbreaking iphone.

i would update your phone to 3.1.x and use redsn0w ...guide

update your phone to the latest firmware in iTunes as you can unlock all iPhone 2G firmwares,

Ensure when using redsnow that you use the 0.9 version and that when asked you select the firmware file 3.1.2, even though you will upgrade the phone to 3.1.3 !

dont really matter if its jailbroken, i think actually that it might scare some people off because they are mis informed about losing warranty and such...
for those who know what a jailbreak is will know they can jailbreak their ipod with spirit within minutes and be done with it
