iPhone 2g known defects?

Hi,

I recently purchased a 1st Gen iPhone on eBay that is still under applecare until 10/09.

I am wondering if anybody knows a list of known defects for the 1st Gen iPhone? Since the phone will still be under warranty for a few months I would like to inspect it and if I find any issues with it I am planning on bringing it in to the Apple Store for fixing/replacement.

Also, any information about issues that are not a manufacturing defect but is covered under applecare (i.e. battery greatly reduced) would be helpful as well.
