Hi guys, I have an Iphone 2G (first generation) with the following problem. The phone signal comes and goes easily, even in a place with good signal, and eventually signal dissapear. If I remove the sim card and do not use the phone for 1 month or so, and then re-take the phone, signal start strong again, and eventually (sometimes after minutes, other times after days) cycle start over. All other features on the phone works perfectly. Phone suffered two-three drops in the past (just as reference). What could be wrong? How much can cost fix it?

Have you tried restoring the iPhone? Maybe it's time to move on and upgrade to the iPhone 4.

Yes, I restored it (I have OS 3.0) and nothing changed. Not seem to be a software problem, but a hardware (logic board????)
