I recently purchased a used Iphone 2g to use as a Ipod touch for my son at the house. I have a deactivated SIM card in it and have connected it to Itunes numerous times and cannot get it past the "Connect to Itunes" screen. Itunes will not recognize it. I have rebooted and restored it a few times still to no avail. Any help greatly appreciated.......

Yes, I took it to ATT yesterday and they loaded an active one into it as well.....
