IPHONE 2g- youtube not working!

On my Iphone 2g the youtube has stopped working recently.
Message continues to state cannot connect to youtube when inside the application.

Its software version 3.0.1 (7A400).

Any advice on how i can make the youtube start to work again.

I am based in the UK and have the US Iphone 2g- it was jailbroken before....gave it to the shop to make it work again coz it got blocked (its not stolen). I got the recipt from the seller.

Can someone advice me if the iphone has been jailbroken?
How can i tell if it is jailbroken and also how i do make the youtube work again.

Im worried if i update the software it may get blocked, this happen last time then i had to give it to the shop to unlock which cost me.

You need to install pushfix from cydia to fix the YouTube problem on hactivated iPhones.

Can someone please provide the link to install pushfix from cydia and instrucitons for this.

You simply open the Cydia app on your iPhone, go to Search and type in "pushfix" and you should find it. Then all you need to do is install it and then respring or reboot your device.

Simply add: http://cmdshft.ipwn.me/apt/ to your cydia sources. The fix is called "Push Doctor". Install that and you're good to go.

i searched pushfix via my iphone on app store- this was not found.

only pushkin was found....which is not the one needed.

any other advice or tips please.

I posted above the repo you need to add to cydia. Go to cydia/manage, sources, edit and then +add the above source.
The push package will be in that repo once you're done.

I have cydia on my Iphone.

So the Iphone must be jailborken already...

When i click on cydia...it opens and then just closes in a second...it was working before but it stated need to connect with ITUNES and update to latest software...

But if i do this..it will blok my Iphone....which happen previosly...

Any advice?

You probably have a bad repo on cydia and it crashes it.
Do you have openssh installed?
