iPhone 3.0 OS beta theme? Not the same?

Hi, I don't know that much about this but it has been killing me for some reason so I just had to ask.

How come when 3.0 JUST came out it had a redesigned blue theme with everything, but now that theme is gone? I don't really know how to put this but judging from the first pictures of the beta it was there, and then it just completely vanished after that.

Any help?

There was no "redesigned blue theme." The 3.0 beta looked the exact same as 2.2.1. There is no theme change.

The blue "thing" is not a theme. It's just the bar they use to indicate that there's a computer tethered to that iPhone. The blue bar goes away when you un-tether it...

It works much like the green "In call" bar that shows up when you press the home button in a call.

Thank you so much! I always wondered why when I used to have 3.0 and the 3.0 pics I keep seeing online didn't have that blue thing they weren't tethering anything...sorry about that me being stupid.
