Iphone 3.1.2 + Cisco VPN + 3G = problem

I have 2 iphones connecting to an ASA using the Cisco VPN.

I have one config working using 3.0.1 without updating the carrier file.

The other is using 3.2.1 same carrier file... Works great over Wifi but over the 3G net the VPN connects gets an IP and then zero traffic passes...

The only fix I know of is to down grade the second ASA to 3.0.1 but before I did I thought I would throw the question out there in case someone has it working...

Thoughts?

I've looked and searched for solutions, but seems pretty impossible;(
