I stupidly ran automatic update on my mac, which installed version 9.1 of iTunes, so when i connected my jailbroken (via blackra!n) iPhone 3GS (3.12), something ****ed up, and my phone can no longer sync.

Have i just screwed my iPhone up? i NEED the phone to be unlocked, so updating/restoring is not an option.

Is there anything i can do? I have my SHSH backed up via Cydia.

I looked for a fix online, which there seems to be, but only for Windows users, since i only have a mac and a mac formatted iPhone, is there any fix out there?

Thanks.

I'm not sure why this would happen from 9.1, but just look for one of the direct downloads for iTunes at a lower version and download that. Uninstall 9.1 and install whatever version you use. Then sync again.

Get iTunes9.0.3.dmg
Copy all your music, movies, ringtones, apps, etc in a folder on desktop
Drag iTunes 9.1 into trash
Go into Users and Library folders and trash everything iTunes
Reboot, install older iTunes
Add everything back into iTunes
Done
