I hope someone can help me. Had the iphone 3 for several months but yesterday it started acting strangely.
From the menu page I can select the mail icon at the bottom and it will open the mail page as normal, and the animation at the bottom of the screen shows that it is "checking for mail" but then the screen returns to the menu page.
No matter what I do whilst it is "checking for mail" I can't prevent it from returning to the menu page after 7 - 10 seconds.
does anyone out there have any suggestions, simple explanations please!
