iPhone 3 sim card problem.

Hey, i got a iphone 3g, and tryed to restore it, and got error 1015.. then, i downloaded sn0wbreeze and got an ipsw, tried to restore with it thorugh itunes, and then i got that massage:

what to do? i tried putting my sim and its not working.. also, when im connecting itunes it tells me

I am in the same boat, only difference is mine isn't jailbroken or anything, its stock. My iPhone 3G used to be SIM locked. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this, but is there anyway around it??? I just want it to work on wifi in my house.

Hey Amit, from what I've seen on YouTube, you need to get a SIM card. Doesn't matter if its working or not, just any old SIM. Stick it in there, then try to restore, see if that works. I haven't tried it myself yet, still looking for a SIM card to use.
