Iphone 3 won't let me see emails in one acct.

I have an iPhone 3. I set it up with my home email and a gmail acct. working great for a couple weeks then this morning it won't let me choose my home acct. When i go Settings/ Mail,Contacts,Calendars both accounts are still there along with iCloud. When I go to the mail tab on the phone, I got Gmai, iCloud and my home account listed. Only thing is the home account is a lighter shade of grey and it shows the number of emails that I've received since it stop working?? I use to be able to select "all mail" not now???

Frustrated.
