Please help me! I bought my iphone on ebay and was trying to update software etc on itunes,suddenly it went to recovery mode and i have been up for 4 hours trying to solve it.Nothing! Tried thorugh ITunes and error messages keep coming up,tinyumbrella all different programs,even tried just rebooting it! NOTHING!!! What can I do?

Was it using the ipad baseband if so you need to use a custom firmware?

If you have the ebay aution link post it here and i'm sure someone will look if you don't understand what i'm asking?

Iphone recovery

No I am using Dell Studio and Winows Vista. I was thinking that the phone might have gone through jailbreaking from previous owner and that might be a problem! I gave it to unlocking shop,he said he can do it!

can you tell us what firmware and baseband it had ask the ebay seller. it sounds like the ipad baseband to me. why pay somebody to fix something you fix yourself free. however it is your time and money! btw just the name unlocking shop for some reason sounds shady to me.
