I was wondering if there was any way that i could disable the data on the iphone so it wont connect when im not connected to wifi.

Best way todo it is dial *611 and tell them that you want to block your 3G internet and to never under any circumstances activate it unless you specificaly tell them to.

That's what I did but if you go to settings general/network you can also disable 3G there but it's better to phone in so that you know for sure that 3G won't load up.
