I feel a bit bad about my first post being a help request already but I need help, all the googling and looking around still left me uncertain
As the title states I have a iPhone 3G on 3.1.3 with a 05.12.01 baseband which I now want to wipe and update to 4.x and unlock it for use with all carriers.
From my understanding I need to update while preserving my baseband, that much I got. So far I used Sn0wbreeze 2.2.1 to make a custom 4.2.1 IPSW which was successful and afterwards I wanted to use Ultrasn0w but I don't want to mess up so I wanted to have a confirmation that what I do is right... so yeah any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
