Just say I get my hands on a unactivated without contract iphone 3g is there any way at all I could use it on Tmobile. Also i will be using edge still because of frequency problem.

Depends. IF this 3G iPhone you are getting is an unlocked Euro version, yes. Otherwise no. At least not right now. Maybe in a few weeks once hackers can do some reverse engineering.
