iPhone 3G and Family Plans?!

I have 1 line that is part of a 2 person family plan that is able for an upgrade. Will I be able to use that line on the iPhone 3G or do I have to have an individual line to be able to purchase it for $199?

You could be able to update it for just one line.


Thats how AT&T handled the last iPhone, and handles other phones. Each line is there own thing, which share the same minutes and are paid by one person.

You will be able to use that line, depending how far you are into the contract, if you're only a month in, chances are they're not going to let you upgrade.. it'd be hit and miss depending on the CSR.. either way, you're going to get hit with the new prices..
