Under the old edge plan all internet data was included so I guess (I have not read the new terms and conditions) that 3G data will be the same. Happy surfing!

capiche.

o2 are widening their wifi network to include bt openzone networks now too, broadening the value.
3g slow / wifi quick. capiche!

Thats good to hear. Didn't O2 used to be BT (or Cellnet?). Anyway I have never found the cloud to be that fast, maybe I should look out for it a bit more!

usually cloud hotspots and btopenzone limit your bandwidth to 512kpbs which is only slighty faster than 3G (384kbps) however using HSDPA which the iPhone and O2 support will give 1.8Mbps if your in coverage

That depends where you are, in my local coffee shop the hotspot must be hidden behind a foot of concrete or something because the wifi signal is awful but 3G is speedy
