iPhone 3G antenna problem

Hi guys,

I have been having a problem with the iPhone 3G reception (vodafone GR). Everytime I grab the iPhone, the bars fall from 4-5 to about 1-"no service". Is there a software fix for that or do I have to go to an apple store and let them repair it? I have been searching all across the internet and found no answer, just plain forum posts with no answers.
