I have the iPhone 3G 8GB model, only had it for about 7 months now, and up until now it's been awesome. Recently, I've had some problems with the battery running out too fast (or so it appears, since it still lasts a day or two), and more importantly, for the past week the battery life appears to be "stuck".
The first time this happened, it appeared to be stuck at approx. 3-5% on the battery icon, no matter how long it was plugged in. Contacted Apple, they told me to restore and the problem should be fixed, otherwise it was a battery issue and they would replace/repair. I restored it, everything was fine. It's now happened again, and I'm wondering whether I'll have to restore it every time (every other day), or am I just going to have to gamble on the battery life? It runs as long as if it is charged fully when I've charged it, it just doesn't look like I've done anything.
I am running OS 4.1 on it, but haven't been experiencing any of the battery problems people have reported with it.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
