iPhone 3g Battery Problem...

I have a 16g iPhone, purchased on the release date and yesterday I noticed that when I tried to charge my battery, when it was at 20% or so, it isn't charging all the way. The big green battery icon that comes on when you hit the home button when your phone is charging, won't go above half. The icon at the top says that the battery is full and on wall power but when I disconnect it, the top icon also goes to half.

Any suggestions or should I head to an apple store?

ok soI guess it was a little glitch or something, I rebooted my phone, plugged it into a wall, turned it on and its working again, I dunno what happened ... weird...
