So I dropped my 3G black iPhone from my bed to the wood floor, probably like a 1.5-2 foot drop? it's not the tallest bed in the world haha. there's 3 really noticeable scuff marks, they sort of look like silver sharpie haha. Does anyone know if I can fix this? maybe a DIY method besides buying a skin :p

I found maguires SCRATCH-X was good at removing small marks from the gloss coating on my mates iphone 3g. Its designed to get minor marks out of clear-gloss coated auto paints....works a treat on the iPhones gloss coat. Do be careful to use with a microfiber to apply the treatment to avoid the chance of the cloth your using scratching the case further.
