iPhone 3G "Cannot connect to voicemail"?

Hey, we've had the iPhone 3G for a while on the 3 Network (Australia), unfortunately anytime we click the voicemail tab under calls, it says it cannot connect.. is this a problem with 3, or possibly the iPhone? I'd guess the former.

I know you want it to work because it is a part of your service but dude, this is WAY better and you can customise it.

Yeah i know you do. Mine works but i dont use it. I use youmail because it is way better. Just a tidbit for you when you want something else.

Did you try connecting to voice mail manually (by dialing your number from the phone, for example?) I had this issue, but after dialing into voicemail, it magically got resolved (albeit in the U.S.).
