iPhone 3G compatible clock / charger

Anyone found any compatible speaker systems / charging dock / alarm clocks that are compatible with iPhone 3G? I had the original 2G one working with my iHome H5 (know it wasn't strictly compatible) but now when I dock the iPhone 3G it returns an error on the screen that no charging will take place.

Can anyone recommend one that will work?
